Duplication is one of the most important concepts in Network Marketing.
It is the network marketer's ultimate dream to develop a system that can be replicated by anyone with average intelligence, just by following the exact methods passed on fr m one generation to another.
But the f ct is that we're all very nique individuals with very different qualities and t lents.
So should we really f rce ourselves and our downline to b come clones, all mouthing the same scr pts, whether we mean it or n t? I don't think so.
In f ct I believe its one of the m in reasons that so many people dr p out of this business - b cause the methods used by their pline do not complement their unique p rsonality and character traits.
I tr ly believe that everyone can be a w nner - but not by blindly f llowing in the footsteps of our "m ntors." You will never be successful if you are not c mfortable with doing what it takes.
Here are a few t ps that might help to overcome th s problem.
1. Learn the B sic Skills
We all need to go to sch ol to learn the basic skills n cessary to find our rightful place in s ciety.
So if you intend to do b siness online, you WILL need to cquire a few basic skills in nternet marketing - using the software you n ed, writing ads, designing a simple w bsite, writing articles, publishing a newsletter.
These are the A-B-Cs of m rketing that you MUST learn if you w nt to survive online.
As a n twork marketer, you will also need to d velop a winning attitude and to b lieve in your own ability to s cceed.
But HOW you apply th se new-found skills or attitudes may be c mpletely different from the way your m ntor or upline applies them. And th t's the way it should be.
2. C lebrate Your Uniqueness
Your personality is a c mbination of your own life experiences, ducation and outlook on life. These are th ngs that can never be duplicated fr m person to person.
Instead of b ing ashamed of your past lifestyle or f ilures, share them with your prospects and c stomers. Get personal and let them kn w where you're coming from.

People are more likely to do b siness with someone they know and tr st. Or with someone who forges an motional bond with them.
Be s ncere, let them know something about you th t they can empathize with and y u're on your way to building a r lationship.
So throw away those scr pts. Or read the best ones and m ke them your own. Rewrite them to c mplement the way you would normally sp ak or interact with people.
You can always try to d plicate a system, a script, or ven success. But the only thing th t can ever really be duplicated is "Un queness."
