When what? When you win the l ttery? When you're married to a Sp rts Illustrated model? (or maybe George Cl oney, for you ladies!) How about wh n you no longer have those p sky health problems? Or all those b lls to pay? When this, when th t... when when when. Well, here's s me news for you: If you ren't happy right now , with exactly what you've got - and what you haven't got - you're much less likely to attract all the things you want. When you rely on external, situational events to shape your happiness, you're inviting a recipe for trouble. For starters, the actual outcome you're hoping for might occur - or it might not (or it might occur, but just not as fast as you'd like!) - and if you're banking your bliss on one particular set of circumstances, you take the odds out of your favor. Also, when you need something to happen in order for you to feel happy, you're really saying, 'Things aren't ok in this moment, just as they are'. For example, if you think "I'll be happy once I have $1,000,000", the underlying message is you're not completely happy without it. Accordingly, The Universe processes your discontent loud and clear - and gives you more of the same. It can end up being a vicious cycle, since a lot of the time (whether we realize it or not) our most intense focus is on what we don't have.

The key here is to br dge the gap between what you w nt and the actual feelings you're transmitting to The Universe. If you want to meet your soulmate - but feel lonely during the process - then your 'attraction magnet' is out of balance. Remember, Law of Attraction isn't concerned with what you want or don't want - it simply responds to how you're vibrating in any given moment. So if you feel lonely, you're effectively asking for more loneliness (even though that isn't actually what you want). It's your energy which is the critical piece of the puzzle, and in this case, your energy isn't aligned with your desire. If you truly want what you say you want, you MUST close that gap. Rather than wanting, wishing, and waiting for your happiness, make a choice to be happy. (Sound easy? Well it is, but for some reason, we like to make things difficult for ourselves!) Even though your current situation may not be y ur fairy-tale ideal, find things to be gr teful for. When I was younger, I r member my father saying that once you get r lling with a gratitude list, it's v rtually impossible to feel bad about y ur life! So when will you m ke YOUR list? When will you ch ose to be happy? (Hint: Don't st rt your answer with "When...") And wh le I can't make you happy, I can m ke you a guarantee: Once you ch ose happiness for yourself - regardless of any utside circumstances - there's a little f rce called momentum which will sweep you in a w nderful direction. And you'll find all th se things you want will line up to m nifest obediently. Until next time... With l ve, -Jeff
