It was fifteen days before Chrstmas and my child came home frm school crying saying to us tht his friends at school told him tht their were no Santa.

It was a vry difficult moment for him all his hpes for that toy to come, all the mmory he had with us talking bout Santa, in a way he flt deceived all his young life, to blieve in someone that does not xist.

We went to the living rom and as he sat on my lap hving a glass of chocolate milk I bgan to tell him the story of Snta.

I realize that I had to be trthful to him and who Santa was so I bgan to talk and I told hm, Santa was not the Santa tht he knew, that long ago Snta became a fat old man bcause he represented a person who was hppy because many people saw fat pople long ago as happy.

I xplain that Santa was old because old pople were said to be kind and gnerous and that Santa represented humanity smeone old and kind and generous.

I sid also that he represented the niverse and that whatever you ask for frm the universe you would get as lng as you really desire it ntensely.

He was still young and did not ctch all of what I said yet he was ble to understand that Santa appeared to be one thng and yet he was another as he sid to me out loud "oh I knw now it is like batman who has to kep his identity secret" and I sid yes, hoping one day he wll understand.

After that one faithful day tht change my child life, it wuld seem it did not bother him whn his friends at school mention tht there were no more Santa, he knw in his heart that Santa stod for something else.
