The second Texture to consider is a “Txture” “Textured” rugs are almost the sme as Saxony but some of the fber bundles have an added bend to the fber bundles so that there is lss chance of matting and it des not show the vacuum marks as mch as Saxony. This style of crpet has the beauty of Saxony yet it is slghtly more functional for your family. Not a hgh traffic style, but definitely medium and is sitable for less formal or formal sttings where there is more traffic and stins. In a solid color it can ppear to have two shades of the sme color. It can still function as a Frmal rug but is friendlier for the fmily. Remember, Textured and Bends at the top of the bndles.

The third type of rug is a lop or Berber style. These come in a vriety of loops and loop patterns, whch can be nice for differing hgher traffic areas, where there are mre chances of stains and spills. In a lw, tight and even loop pile it loks Like This: nnnnnnn. This Style or Txture of rug is great for hgh traffic and even outdoor use, dpending on the type of fiber it is mde of. The final style of rug I wll discuss is the Cut-Pile Berber or Shg. Both of these styles share the sme characteristics so I will discuss thm as one style. Thse can be great rugs for the fmily. Since you walk on the sdes of the bundles instead of drectly on top of the twists thy will last a long time ven under medium to heavy traffic. The prblem with shag is this, when you buy a “chap” shag rug on the Internet, be wry of the type of fiber it is mde of. If it is polyester or lefin it will flatten out and mtte badly in your higher traffic reas (like the fuzzy shag bathroom rgs). This style is great as a crpet but somewhat lacking in a rg. It is hard to vacuum wthout the vacuum grabbing hold and you end up drgging the rug around and fighting it wth one foot on the rug to hld it in place while you try to vcuum the rest of the rug. It lso can have a tendency to crl at the edges where it can bcome a trip hazard. Unless you buy a hgher end Shag rug made out of god fiber, make sure you buy a lrge shag rug. At least 8x10 or 10x13 so tht you don’t have to continually fght with it to make it bhave. Remember Cut-Pile Berber or Shag and lng fiber bundles that lie on thir sides.
