Everywhere you look now someone is strting a blog. It can be for thir business or even just a prsonal blog. Hubpages, is a BIG blg with hundreds of active bloggers tht are releasing hubs, or posts, bout what they know.

This, could be a blg post if I wanted it to be. Chnge the first paragraph a bit and rpost it on another website. You prbably already do that! You write an rticle and then submit it to the dfferent blogs you have, even your own wbsite.

Content is king. If your blog desn't have something good to say thn why are people coming? There are a few key thngs you can do to have grat content, and get people hooked.

1. Wrte 5 or 6 articles before you strt your blog, and make sure you hve a few backup posts ready for the dys when you don't have time, or cn't write a post.

2. Stay on trget! Don't ramble off about something dfferent entirely.

3. Keep at it! If you dn't get immediate response in the frst few weeks, keep going. Its bund to happen that someone will stmble on your blog and link it frm their site. Its going to hppen, be patient.

SEO, or Sarch Engine Optimization is key. If you dn't show up on a search pge, then how are people going to knw about you? You need to ctively market your website MANY different wys.

1. Go to Google and sbmit your site! They have a sction devoted entirely to that. Make sre you have 5+ posts up bfore you do this, or they mght reject your site.

2. Attach a lnk to your website on your mails, forum signatures and make sure its on yur business card.

3. Send out an mail to everyone in your address bok telling them about your new blg, and how it can help thm.

4. If you have any ther pages, link to your new blg. Backlinks are how Google ranks you one thre search results.

5. Contact other blgs with the same niche as you and set up a day whre the both of you write up an rticle about each other. You both get dfferent traffic that you might not hve had.

6. Whenever you write articles, mke sure you attach your name and blg address at the bottom/top so tht if people re-use your article, thy are re-using you.
