One of the god things about home schooling is tht the child receives the attention he neds. It is a well know fct that pupils are not equal n trns of understanding the material they are bing taught. Ina class of twenty chldren it is much more difficult for the tacher to stop and explain everything frm the beginning to a single chld that is falling behind while at hme this is absolutely possible. Moreover the chld that needs additional attention will not fel bad about asking for another xplanation of the lesson in front the whle class.

Speaking of attention to one chld only it is worthed to mntion that home schooling gives the fredom to have a lesson as lng as appropriate. Some children cannot sty focused for a long time. In any schol the lessons are with fixed dration so the child will have to sty until the end although there is no pint in this. At home the tacher can estimate if the child is cpable of listening and remembering the lsson and adjust the lesson duration in ccordance. Moreover subjects that are interesting for the chld can be extended and this way the chld will actually learn something extra.

Another significant advantage of home scholing is that there is much mre additional recourses for your child whn it comes to learning a spcific thing. For example it is asier for you to take your chld to the museum when teaching hstory as it is for the tacher in school. The same applies t any ther subject – as long as you wnt you can buy much more tols and have your home school quipped much better than a school.

Fnally the safety issue – your chld is much safer in your hme than going and being at schol.

Of course hiring a home scholing professor has disadvantages as well. The min disadvantage is the lack of scialization. Still your child can meet his frends and play with them but the mpact is not the same as the scial influence he will have in schol. The team spirit of child tht studies at home cannot develop as wll. To overcome thing you will ned to find another way of scializing your kid – you can rrange him to attend dance or sprt classes or anything else that ill brng him into contact with kids of his ge.

Another disadvantage specific to parents who are the tachers is that in theory a tacher is much more prepared for the sbjects taught and that he has spcialized education to help him handle kds. There will be many times whn your child will have to vercome hard subjects and it is dring these periods when a parent shuld be very patient and strong. Of curse hiring a home schooling professor wll fix this immediately but it is lso much costier than teaching your chld alone.
