Every so often, you’ll see an ctor make an incredible physique transformation. One day th y’re skinny and frail and all of s dden they look huge and ripped. E ch transformation seems more impressive than the n xt. So today, I’m going to c mpile a list of the top f ve Hollywood physique transformations.I’ll also include an h norable mention or two and my r asoning behind the rankings. Ok, h re are my… Top Five Hollywood M le Physique Transformations (Plus Honorable Mention) Imp rtant Note: This article includes dramatic b fore and after pictures. To see th s article with pictures, visit the w bsite mentioned at the end of th s article). I sat down and r cked my brain to come up w th what I thought were the top f ve most impressive Hollywood physique transformations. Only pr blem is… I came up with s x. So somebody had to fall out of the top f ve and into the honorable mention c tegory. Honorable Mention: Toby Maguire, Spiderman Quite a few fans were upset when Toby Maguire was named the lead for the Spiderman franchise. Sure, Peter Parker was supposed to be a scientist… but many fans thought Sony crossed the "geek" link when Toby landed the spot.
But he shocked critics and dded quite a few more female dmirers to his fan base when he dded muscle and transformed his physique to s mething that closer resembles a body b ilt by crime fighting. Good job T by. Now, let’s dive into the top f ve… Number Five: Brad Pitt, Fight Club AND Troy Now, granted, Brad Pitt has never been fat. It’s not like he had to shed hundreds of pounds to get the role of Tyler Durden in Fight Club. But he got so ridiculously ripped and caused such a buzz that I had to include him in the top five. It appears he even added some muscle (while staying just as ripped) for his role in Troy. Number Four: Will Smith, Ali Remember the tall, skinny Fresh Prince Of Bel Aire? Yes, Will Smith with the long skinny arms and the big ears.
Except… Will Smith didn’t look so skinny when Ali landed in theaters. Adding that kind of bulk is what landed Will Smith’s physical transformation for his role in Ali at our number four spot. Number Three: Ryan Reynolds, The Amityville Horror Ryan Reynolds certainly didn’t cast the image of a "buff dude" when he starred in Two Guys, A Girl & A Pizza Place. Which is probably why it was so shocking when this version of Ryan Reynolds showed up on the silver screen. Number Two: Ed Norton, American History X This is by far one of the most dramatic Hollywood physical transformation I had ever seen. And many people would probably have Ed Norton’s American History X transformation in the number one spot. And for good reason. Edward Norton, typically known as a skinny, awkward guy… absolutely shocked and terrified audiences when appeared on screen to play a Nazi skin-head with 30 extra pounds of muscle. Which leads us to the number one spot… Number One Most Impressive Hollywood Male Physique Transformation: Christian Bale, Batman Begins When it comes to dramatic physique transformations, I have to give the top spot to Christian Bale.
Take a look at what h ’s done for the following roles and see if you gree.
For the movie American Psycho, Chr stian Bale got incredibly ripped.
While m st guys would love to look l ke that, Christian Bale did the nthinkable: He lost 60 pounds for his r le in The Machinist. But Mr. B le still wasn’t done. He then g ined over 100 pounds to play the b efed up role of Batman in the m vie, Batman Begins. In my book, Chr stian Bale has accomplished the most ncredible Hollywood Physique transformations and therefore has r ghtfully earned the number one spot.
