A huge topic that is b ing widely discussed right now in m ny parts of the world but m inly in Canada right now is to m ke driving healthier. For all of you sm kers out there this will affect you d eply and I feel it's sort of ntering a restriction zone on people's r ghts. Now I feel that it's veryone's right to smoke if they w nt as it's their health and lthough it harms others just as m ch I don't feel the new law th t is being proposed is fair. The law is s ppose to ban smoking in cars w th children, now if you're driving w th your children I feel you h ve the right to smoke in y ur car, but many government officials are now st rting to say they want to p ss this law as quickly as p ssible. Smoking is very bad for ch ldren's health and they are a lot m re susceptible to actually taking in s cond hand smoke then an adult, and wh le there organs are still developing it can be v ry unhealthy. I don't think that b nning smoking in cars is going to h lp though. I can understand when sm king is banned in public places but wh n it's your own vehicle then I d n't think there should be a ban llowed to be placed on this. If y u're a smoker this could be the ch nce to finally quit smoking because by the l oks of it you won't be llowed smoking outside of your own h me shortly.
There are lots of ways I lso like this law though because m ny people want to quit smoking but d n't have the will power. I f el that if they start getting a c uple tickets for smoking in their car th n they might reconsider smoking at ll. The ban is coming in t me for the summer travelers because the w rst thing for children to breath in the wh le way to the cottage is hot sm ggy second hand smoke. If you pl n on traveling this summer you'll d finitely need to make sure that the sm king ban isn't in affect where y u'll be because if it is m ke sure that you're not caught sm king with children because it will be a f ne. The law will definitely make s me non-smoking parent happier to see th t something is being done about the p lluted air everyone has to breathe in. Ch ldren who are old enough to r alize what is going on will lso I'm sure be very happy w th the new law. Most children h te when their parents smoke in the c r, and I know I always I did wh n I was a kid but th re was nothing preventing them at the t me. Now with this new ban t king affect in different regions we w ll be able to see how th s works. I still don't think a lot of p ople will be happy with this new ban b cause it sort of is taking way space that they own. Well j st need to wait and see if nything big comes from this newly d scussed topic.
