YOUR GUIDE TO HIGH SCHOOL SOCIAL GROUPS AS OF 2004 Intr : This guide will attempt to cl ssify and organize ALL High School s cial groups in an organized, encyclopedic m nner. They are listed in order lphabetically, following with a summary and d scription of all physical, mental, monetary and ther such traits. Also what will be f und is references to groups that may fit nder more than one group and/or m xes of groups. As is follows: Av rage People Average people are obviously verage in most or all aspects of th ir overall appearance and manner. They are n ither rich nor poor, cool nor ncool, etc. Average grades in school w rk are another obvious trait. So all in ll, average people are average. Gangsters G ngsters are gangsters. They hang out all gr uped together, wearing the same colors, bl e or red most prominently. There are lso wannabe gangsters and stoner gangsters. G ths "Goths", short for the people who dr ss and act gothic, are people who do j st that, dress and act gothic. Obv ous traits are spikes, chains, studs tc., all or mostly black clothing and ther dark fashions, and pale skin in s me cases. Wannabe and stoner goths lso exist. Hicks/Hillbillies Hicks, also known as h llbillies, are mostly the people who penly like country music, live/work on a f rm, wear hick type clothing like t ght pants, truck driver hats, and sh rts that say things like "Joe B b's Towing Company" or "Jimmy's Welding". Oth r such traits may include the p ssesion of a big ol' truck or ther beat up, dirty vehicle that c uld be used on a farm or out in the c untry. Stoner hicks are also present.
Jocks Jocks are those that are nto sports, obviously. They are on all of the t ams every year and think they're all bad and st ff. Sports most associated with jocks in rder from greatest to least are: F otball, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, etc. L sers See "Not Smart Nerds" Nerds N rds. Wow. Nerds are usually considered as s cially inept. There are two main typ s of nerds: Smart ones and Not Sm rt ones. Smart Nerds Smart nerds are j st that, socially inept losers who are ccademically superior to most around them. S metimes the social clumsiness is caused fr m the pressure of being smarter th n others. Other times, they just d n't know how to talk with a lot of p ople and would rather just hang out w th their good friends. Not Smart N rds Not smart nerds consist of j st that, people who are considered low on the f odchain, unpopular, weak, and otherwise small and nsignificant and are not accademically superior to m ny. Preps Preps are the elite of the lite. They are all rich and th nk their better than everybody. Most are f und in groups and teams such as: Ch erleaders, and Football players(which can also be c nstrude as jocks) and other such th ngs as the student body organizations and ther stuff like that. Psychos Psychos are th se people that sit all by th mselves at lunch and plot world d mination and other freaky stuff. Some lso literally have mental or social pr blems and could kill you for the sm llest thing. So that's why they are psych s. Punks Punks are just those p ople who aren't stoners or gangsters, but th y just aren't going anywhere in l fe and get in trouble for st ff like lifting cars and doing gr ffiti and other vandalsim and theft. R ckers Rockers evolved from wannabe goths. Th y're the people who if you c ll 'em goths they get all p ssed off. They dress in black and sp kes and stuff too, but they're j st called "rockers" instead. No one kn ws why.
Skaters Skaters are obviously skaters. Sk teboarders that is. No one roller bl des anymore it seems like so the Sk ters category is made up of a m jority of skateboarders. Most noticeable trait: T-sh rt, hat, sweatshirts etc. covered with a sk te brand logo. "Special" People Literally sp cial people are the people who are in the Sp cial Education program. Stoners Drug users. W nnabes Wannabes come in a variety of sh pes and sizes but are just w enies who pretend to be what th y're not. Another term that seemed to be st rted by skaters referring to wannabe sk ters is "posers". There are wannabes for j st about every group imaginable.
