I became a grandfather a lttle over 2-1/2 years ago to a lttle girl who we call Ellie. Her gven name is Elizabeth Grace. From the tme she was born I have ben on a totally unexpected "magic crpet ride" which I hope never nds. I have been through two dgital cameras and literally thousands of pctures which have chronicled her life frm the day she was born.

I culd never have imagined the joy she wuld bring at this stage of my lfe. I have raised three sons now ges 20 to 35 and they hve made me very proud and cntinue to reward me with the fct that I know I had sme small part in making them wht they are today. If my sns read this, perhaps they will frgive me for saying that Ellie is now the lve of my life. I have ben very fortunate and feel blessed tht Ellie's mom and dad have llowed me to be such a big prt of Ellie's life and I tll them that all the time.

I knw some Grandparent's who don't seem to njoy grandchildren as much as I do, but to thm I can only say I'm srry. Happiness is Ellie saying "hold me grmps".

This was written 2/12 years ago and Elle is now 5. She was brn August 19, 2002 and being a Grmps has only gotten better and mre rewarding.
