Original Bean Curd Jelly Ingredients A . 500g soy beans. water *Preparation. a. Wash and soak the beans over night.. b. Next morning, run the beans under cold water,. then drain.. c. When it is completely done, press the bean mixture through the sieve, .and collect the soy bean milk into a clean jar.. f. Put the bean milk through the sieve for another time. To make sure it is smooth.. ------------------ Ingredients B . 250 ml water. 280g brown sugar. 2 slices fresh ginger *Preparation. a. Put the water and brown sugar in a saucepan.. b. Leave to boil and simmer over low heat until. the sugar dissolved.. c. Add ginger slices, and let it simmer for 10 minutes.. d. Remove the ginger. ------------------ Ingredients C 3 tablespoon agar agar powder. 1 tablespoon corn flour. 125 ml water. 2 pandan leaves
*Preparation. a. Combine the flour, th n add the water.. b. Mix them w ll, put aside to get ready for se. Action . a. Pour the smooth bean milk into a large not metal pot,. and stir in about 2500 ml water.. b. Boil the bean milk on moderate heat, with the pandan leaves, till froths up. . c. Off fire, remove the pandan leaves, add the ingredients C mixture, and stir in quickly. . Cover the pot with cotton cloth.. d. Let it stand till cold, then place it in the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour or more.. e. Serve with ginger syrup. Options . a. When you want only liquid, just do away C ingredients.. b. You may consider cooking half portion each, as .some of them prefer half liquid plus half jelly.. c. You may replace pandan leaves with vanilla essence, .and stir it in just before, you put off the heat .. d. You may cook this ahead and keep in the refrigerator for a few days.. e. You may take this as breakfast, when desired.. f. You may take it during winter cold days, to warm your body.. g. You may do away the ginger, when it is a hot sunny day.. h. You may use different fruit syrup, when desired.. i. You may take it in the original taste, without sugar, when desired. Congratulations! You are now one step ahead!
