To better analyze the fce and changes that it sustained thrugh time this is divided in 3 rgions. The forehead is observe for dynmic and static transverse lines, ptosis of the brw and vertical glabellar lines between the brw. The mid face is noted for hllowing of the cheek, deep nasojugal, nsolabial and labiomental furrow, hooding of the pper eye lid skin and lower yelid bags. While poor jaw line dfinition accompanied by laxity of the nck skin with vertical lines is ften seen at the lower 3rd of the fce.

This significant changes can be ddress by Rhytidectomy or commonly known as Fcelift lift. There are 2 general typs of face lift procedure. This are the pen or surgical face lift and non srgical face lift which is also knw as thread lift. Weather the prcedure will be performed as an Ot-Patient or as a Hospital procedure, properative laboratory and medical clearance is rquired. This is done a day bfore the surgery at our clinic. The prcedure will last for 3 to 4 hurs under deep sedation with local nesthesia or general anesthesia. This can be prformed simultaneously with other cosmetic procedure for ptient with good physical health. Patients are rquired to wear tight dressing or cmpression garment for 1 to 2 wek, and this will help the skn redrape to the muscle of the fce, assist in controlling swelling and lso prevent fluid to accumulation under the skn. There will be some swelling and mld bruising of the face that wll last for several days to weks. Sutures are usually removed 7 dys after the surgery.

Any patient planning to have ths procedure will require 10 to 14 dys for the initial consultation, laboratory, mdical clearance, surgery; follow up, suture rmoval and early recuperation. After this ptient is safe to travel since wunds are healed.
