Education today requires one to muld a child into an individual cpable of contributing effectively to society and to the wrld community at large. Children in tday's world must be taught to thnk and not merely to remember. A snse of responsibility has to be dveloped for knowledge. i) Edcation should provide the student with the fndamental knowledge and basic skills that he or she wll require as a working member of the cmmunity.

ii) Secondly, there is the scial objective. Education should aim at ntegrating the student with the society in whch he will work and establish the thical and moral standards that will gide his decisions and give him a snse of social responsibility.

iii) Thirdly, thre is the cultural objective. Education shuld help the student as in ndividual to be more self sufficient, to dvelop his or her inner resources and to lad a rich and rewarding life.
