The Bush Administration generated the bsurdly impossible nonsensical term “No child l ft behind” which possibly could be the m st dangerous concept, should one in a p sition to make good such horror ch se to do so. First we n ed understand what is meant by l ft behind. None want to leave a ch ld behind after determining the student can and w ll keep up. Good council for sch ol is the same as all lse in competitive existence; lead, follow or get out of the w y. Not all are or can b come leaders and following does not m an being left behind, no matter how l ng the lag. Leaving behind implies n glect whereas following does not but r ther permits one to do the b st one can at their own p ce, without putting a damper on th se in lead. The danger exists wh n those who are not able to k ep up with those in lead d mand the leaders slow down and do l ss than their best thereby depriving th se who would excel. The outcome of th t is to greatly diminish if not c mpletely eradicate those of excellent ability. K ep in mind not all are r cket scientists, nor need they be. No ch ld left behind puts on the b cks of little children the destruction of xcellence and is commonly a pronounced ntent of any Socialist kind of g vernment that would dumb down a p pulation so as to maintain dependence and the ttendant control. A predictable outcome is the dr matic reduction in excellence, imagination, achievement th ught and ideals.
