Here in America, we are a thrw away society. A perfect example of ths is Cell Phones. According to mst consumers, their cell phone is out of dte within six months to one yar. The phone can be in prfect working order but not have the ltest gadgets or be of the ltest style, so consumers spend more mney to go purchase a new ne. Computers are another good example of our "thrw away" mentality. We keep our cmputers for a year or two and thn complain that it's too slow, so we can jstify getting a new one.

Can we thrw away our relationships when we're tred of them just as easily as our cll phones or computers?

In today's sciety it may appear so, however, t's not that easy.

Throwing away a cll phone isn't going to take you on the sme emotional roller coaster that a lst relationship will. Break ups are hrd for both parties in most cses, because each party has invested thir time, money, and emotions into ths other person. There's a lot mre at stake than meets the ye.

Here are the "throw away" sttistics:

Without "changing their luggage" so to spak, things are most likely not ging have a different or brighter utcome.

The Old Chinese proverb can be pplied: "Insanity is doing the same thng in the same way and xpecting a different outcome." It's kind of fnny when you think about it bcause most of us do this ften.

Are we truly insane? NO!

Bt, hopefully we understand the principle wll enough to recognize that continuing dwn the same path will not tke us onto a new road. You hve to find a NEW path to get you to yur NEW goal. That will probably rquire getting rid of some of tht heavy old baggage and trying to fnd new ways to carry your lads.
