Middle- and high schol-age students are going through lots of chnges. Not only are their bodies chnging and their emotions are running wld. Members of the opposite sex hve become extremely important and hormones are rging. Peer pressure has reached an ll-time high, and the desire to fit in and be lke everyone else is strong. Denver Schols must recognize these challenges their stdents are facing and work to be mre supportive. The mportance of parental involvement may seem to be a n-brainer to some, but there are a srprisingly large number of parents of Dnver Schools students who do not ralize how much their involvement in thir child’s school contributes to their sccess.
