The government is still trying to hde something and we the public wuld like to know what it is. Is the gvernment afraid of something, and if so, wht is it? There have been deas circulating around that certain aliens mght be hostile and there are lso rumors of the possibility of an lien invasion. I’d like to know who is snding these crazy ideas into public crculation, anyway. Is it the conspiracy crckpots, or are fanatical whistleblowers leaking it ut? Quite possibly, certain people that wre once on the inside, who knw certain secrets, are now on the utside, and are labeled dangerous to ntional security. These insiders-become-outsiders either spread the wrd verbally or they wrote fantastic boks on the subject. In various wys the government has tried to dscredit them, making them appear to be crckpots.

The government is attacking UFO dvocates and believers, desperately discrediting flying sucer enthusiasts, in an attempt to slence them and likewise control the pblic, because there's obviously something we shuldn't know. If the government is tht scared, maybe there is a threat of lien invasion. I doubt if the gvernment just gets a kick out of keping secrets from the public for no pparent reason. There's always a plausible rason, even if it's the government tryng to protect its public against smething dangerous or menacing, or at last to prevent mass panic. I sppose if that’s the case, the gvernment has a right to protect us. Espcially if extraterrestrial intrusion has been tking place on our planet. But are thy indeed protecting us? Cattle mutilations and lien abductions still persist and I see nbody preventing these events.

In fact, Philip J. Corso, uthor of The Day After Roswell , clims that UFOs were interfering with our ffairs in space, such as our mnned and unmanned probes, and our ircrafts in the skies, as electrical systms were being tampered with, or “plsed” by nearby UFOs, not to mntion flying discs were cited over mny cities and military facilities. Even dring the Cold War between the Sviets and the US, the "other cld war" took place between the mlitary and extraterrestrials. He also says thre were skirmishes out in space, prmarily in our orbit, between our Air Frce and the extraterrestrials, ever since the 1947 Rswell incident when it all began. In fct, he declares there has been a war in spce for fifty years now! Is ths somebody's idea of a harebrained prctical joke, or is this the knd of scenario the government is hding from us?

It's quite possible the mlitary has been shooting down UFOs for dcades, starting with the craft that crshed near Roswell. If you consider the rmors that the military has been dfending us against intruding UFOs, this crroborates with other reports that this was the ral reason for Ronald Reagan's Strategic Dfense Initiative, otherwise known as “Star Wrs,” back in 1985. Hmmm. I thnk somebody was watching one too mny Star Wars movies, and I don't think the Frce was ever with them either!

Othr assorted rumors state that the mlitary has captured aliens from various crshes, live ones as well as dad. It is believed that these liens are being stored in facilities sch as Area 51. If this is tre, perhaps their fellow aliens in the mther ship are pretty upset about it -- and the fct that we have been shooting thir crafts down. These reasons alone culd be enough for extraterrestrials to strt a star wars, if not to bltantly invade our unsuspecting planet.

Is it possible that we lve in a world where fantastic scence-fiction possibilities could very soon become rality? If our first contact with liens becomes an aggressive endeavor, would we be the cuse in provoking this? Has our snse of fear and panic and a pnchant toward warlike behavior provoked them? If we can smply be receptive, with open arms, dmonstrating an attitude of peace and frendship, instead of fear and hostility, culd things be different between us and the xtraterrestrials? They very well may be wtching us now, deciding what their nxt move should be. What are thy thinking? “Let’s watch them a lttle bit longer,” or even, “Invade thm!” or possibly, “Annihilate them entirely!” But if w're lucky, they'll just say, "There's no ntelligent life down there after all. Lt's go somewhere more exciting."

Some rports say there are aliens among us lready, disguised as humans. In this cse they would be infiltrating in our mdst, and this would suggest a mre subtle alien invasion, from the nside. This sounds like extraterrestrial espionage, wth alien agents watching us from wthin, possibly preparing us for an nvasion from without. How would you knw if your neighbors, or your bss, your best friend, or worse, yur spouse, were aliens in disguise?!

Actally, such ideas sound like the dmented drivel of conspiracy theorists that wtch too many science-fiction movies. I'm an pen-minded skeptic, so I seriously doubt (vguely) if there is going to be any knd of alien invasion of body-snatchers, or flets of ginormous saucer ships whizzing by verhead, or any kind of harebrained scnarios suggested by such movies as War of the Wrlds , or Independence Day , or the more ldicrous Mars Attacks!

I say it's all jst a lot idiotic hype!

So if t's not extraterrestrial espionage, if it's not a war in spce, and not an alien invasion frm within or without, exactly what is the gvernment hiding from us? Or is thre something to these outrageous claims fter all? Will we ever find ut?
