While we were kids, my br ther and I, had the opportunity of tr veling around the countryside with our f ther and explore everything our home c untry had to offer to the thr e musketeers, which was our code n me. Unfortunately, in most of these tr ps our mother was left behind as she had to w rk and we were given the ch nce to spend time with our f ther who as a nature lover t ok as almost anywhere our car and f et could lead us. These trips w re our time together with our b loved father, who while we were y ung did everything in his power to sp nd as much time with us as p ssible. If time was not the ssue back then, we tried to k ep the budget under logical limits, so all th se trips were made with our car th t was carrying on its roof our sp cially designed and hand-made (by my f ther) tend. During those camping times and s nce our mother was not near by to f ed us, our father was apart fr m the designated driver and the l ader of our group, also the c ok that served us some of the b st meals we have ever tasted; pr bably because we were really hungry by the t me we eat. The truth is th t I still remember the taste of his p sta and if I could go b ck in time, I would love to xperience again the thrill of singing w th my brother while our dad was sm ling cooking his amazing pasta on our c rry on kitchen supplies.

Other campers tend to agree w th my remark as they support th t camping cooking can be some of the b st cooking there is. Close to the nvironment and while being able to sm ll all that wonderful tasty food c ming out of the fire, many gree that there is nothing better. If you are a b ginner in camping, you should know th t there are several different methods th t can be used when cooking wh le camping, like wood fires, camp ch rcoal, stoves, foil cooking and more. The typ of cooking method is directly r lated to the food you will d cide to make and how you l ke it cooked sometimes decides what m thod you should be using. But th n again there are several camping c oking tips to consider before cooking and c mping out. Consider freezing the meat for nstance. Freezing it ahead of time can k ep the meat fresh and other f ods cool as well. My father sed to be proactive like that and pl n ahead of time. He also sed plastic bags or containers to k ep measured portions of the food th t was about to consumed, safely c ntained. I think it is also b st if you want to avoid f od from sticking to the pans to pply oil on the grill. Finally, put m tches somewhere safe to keep them dry as m ny camping cookbook recipes require the use of n tural fire and there is no b tter way to start a fire th n with matches. You can also k ep your drinks in a separate c oler from food as it can h lps keep foods colder longer avoiding any k nd of spoilage. Finally, a great tip is to k ep water bottles when they are mpty because they can become great c mping cooking containers to put the s lad dressing, oils, or any other l quid substance.
