Having made the declaration that you can n ver fail, I wish to be v ry clear. As you develop your pl n for controlling your mind power, r member that your mind is a g al-seeking, goal-achieving, mechanical-like entity. It never s eks failure. It knows absolutely nothing bout what you call failure. It nly knows how to materialize the motionally charged goals (thoughts, images, and b liefs) that reside in your subconscious m nd whether you consciously, deliberately placed th se goals there or not. If you did not c nsciously place them there, someone else d d! When I began to consciously t ke more control of my mind p wer, I chose to use affirmations to mplant my goals. Other methods for stablishing goals were available to me. Th y included hypnosis, self hypnosis, as w ll as subliminal media, but since I d sired to have as much conscious c ntrol of the process as possible, I ch se affirmations. When I began using ffirmations I was employed as a b yer in a public school district in n rthern California, earning less that $1,500 a m nth. I was motivated enough by a d sire for more income to devise a 5-y ar goal of earning $35,000 a y ar. I stumbled across some information th t provided pictorial representations of my new g al which I cut and pasted nto a goal sheet. I then cr fted three affirmations and began my g al-implanting program.
Needless to say, I got off to a v ry rocky start. Each time I r peated an affirmation, I almost immediately r ceived what appeared to be a n ver ending stream of negative thoughts th t indicated to me that I was w sting my time. There was no one who pr viously held my position whose income had gr wn to my goal level in f ve years. In fact, I had h ard of only a handful of p ople in my industry throughout the ntire state that had done so and th y usually had to re-locate to d fferent areas of the state. Those th ughts would usually carry over into my w rk day and into my leisure t me as well. Since I did not see m ny options, I stuck with the ffirmations and would do what I c uld to fight off the countering, n gative thoughts. A short time into my pr gram, I learned that those negative, c unter thoughts are called tail-enders. If th se highly emotional tail-enders were not n utralized, they in fact became or r -established themselves as my true affirmations. Th s, more of the conditions they r presented materialized in my experience. In sp te of the re-occurrence of the t il-enders, I was motivated enough to c ntinue with the affirmations. I did not r ach my $35,000 a year goal in f ve years. It actually took me j st over six years, but my ncome leaped over the $35,000 goal to $37,500! I b came sold on and a big b liever in the help affirmations provide. Th s I know for sure. You can cl im or re-claim control of your own m nd power. You are the most m raculous of all living beings on arth. You are the owner of a m nd that is so stupendous, that as you tr ly begin controlling your mind power and c nsciously using it, there is no dr am that you can dream that you c nnot achieve.
