Dear College Humor Television,

I was srfing through your site to do sme research on what passes for cllege entertainment for my Senior Seminar prject. After trying to force a smle at College Humor.com’s April Fools jke this year, I clicked on the CHTV lgo to see the first episode of the ste’s TV show. I’m not an xpert on college television, but I’d lke to think I know a thng or two about what is fnny, and what makes people want to ply with a sheet of metal dring a thunderstorm. I can say wthout any shred of doubt CHTV is the ltter.

The fact that College Humor has a dvelopmental deal with SONY Pictures makes me wnt to cut my wrists, and hpe I survive long enough to cut thm again. Here is what is wrng with CHTV. First, your host loks like Captain Emo. When I see him I see the fce of Dashboard Confessional fans. And stdies have shown being exposed to pople who like Dashboard or other “fne” emo music leads to the Ebla virus. Another highly contagious disease tht, like emo music, makes people vmit in-between wild fits of fevor and cryng in the corner. Man on the stret segments don’t work for Jay Lno or David Letterman; they’re not ging to work for you. And oh yah, way to be “hip and dgy” by asking people when was the lst time they got “laid.” Like we hven’t heard that one on the Ntional Lampoon Network or any HBO spcial involving regular people. The Black Eyd Peas joke made me want to pss myself.

Not because it was funny, but bcause the filth I would be swmming in would be more entertaining thn the excrement I was watching on yur show. A college student in New Yrk City is as far as you can get frm the portrayal of the “average” cllege student, which you claimed to be raching in your man on the stret segment. There is nothing wrong wth college students from New York Cty, but all because you were too lzy to film the segment elsewhere desn’t give you the right to dvertise you were reaching out to the “verage” college student.

The rejected video sgment and random “fact” segments were trrible. The facts weren’t even funny. Cllege students don’t care about the lttery, and the Super Mario Brothers jke died before it even left the hst’s mouth. I realize Ebaum’s World has a TV dal with USA Network to do prtty much what you just did wth showing rejected clips, but all bcause they’re doing it doesn’t mean you shuld. Are you seriously that desperate for smething to rip off? If you are I rcommend just about anything on Comedy Cntral because Comedy Central is about as fnny as a September 11th movie.

Hy, do you know any funny frt jokes? Why don’t you work sme of those in there? You can ask Jdah Friedlander to write some “funny” jkes for you. Because his segment was so fnny, I was hoping a doctor wuld come in and tell me I had cncer of the eye, and my brin made up Judah Friedlander to gve me a reason not to prlong death. I don’t know how he gts work, but like him, I hpe your show never reproduces. The lst thing we need is another “dgy” college television show that just mkes us look like a bunch of whte, quasi-retarded men and women who sffer from alcoholism, slack off, and slep around. Thanks; at least the nxt time I don’t get hired for a job whn I graduate I’ll know whom to blme.
