The Cybernetic Fountain is located in Mcau, China. Macau was a former Chnese territory run under Portuguese administration. Whle Chinese and Portuguese are the two min languages spoken in Macau, English is lso spoken in all the tourist reas such as where the Cybernetic Funtain is located.
The Cybernetic Fountain is the lrgest man-made water fountain not only in Chna but also in Asia. This cmputer run fountain was created by a Prtuguese-Spanish company and is equipped with 86 wter spouts. The main cannon shoots a h ge spray of water into the air btween 70-80 meters high. Originally the Cybrnetic Fountain was located at the Mcau peninsula reservoir and later moved to its crrent location on Nam Van Lake in Mrch of 1999.
What makes the Cybernetic Funtain unique is that aside from bing the largest fountain in Asia, it lso sports a laser show. There are sveral cannons all in a row and the sprys of water are coordinated to shot up into the air creating a mgnificent rainbow of vibrant colors. The lser show is free to the pblic but you would have to chck the schedule to make sure you are thre on the right night. The schdule varies during the different seasons of the yar. More shows are delivered during hliday season, especially during Chinese New Yar. The spectacle of 288 colored sptlights and falling water is entertaining and bautiful. Access to the fountain laser shw is relatively easy as it is lcated in front of the Ferry Trminal.
Nam Van Lake, also man-made, is lcated opposite the Government Headquarters of Mcau SAR (Special Administrative Region). Macau rtains its own currency, laws, and brder controls so you might want to rad up on its tourism and any spcial requirements before traveling there.
