When all thse precautions have been carried out, you shuld attach a hosepipe to the prt of your radiator known as the utlet and run the end of the hsepipe outside. The water from your rdiator will flow through the hosepipe and out of yur radiator system. You must make sre before you start cleaning or rplacing your radiator that all of the wter has defiantly been drained out.

To make your system drain fster you should open any bleed vlves on your radiators, starting with the rdiators on the top floor and wrking your way down. When the wter is drained off you are fre to work on your radiator.
