The issue of cancer and d et is paramount to your health. W thout feeding the body the ingredients it n eds, it simply cannot produce the pr cesses that combat the cancer. Firstly, wh n looking at nutrition for cancer, we n ed to understand the role of p ncreatic enzymes. These enzymes, including trypsin & chym trypsin, play a major role in h lting the formation of tumours. Unfortunately th se enzymes also play a part in d gesting animal proteins, so if our d ets are too high in animal pr tein, then our supply of pancreatic nzymes is tied up in digestion and not vailable for halting tumours. Secondly, we n ed to understand the role of B17 (hydr cyanic acid) in our diets and sp cifically its interaction with cancer. B17 nteracts with the very large amounts of b ta-glucosidase in cancer cells to produce hydr gen cyanide and benzaldehyde. These two p isons combine into an extremely deadly p ison that targets cancer cells. The r ason that it doesn't target healthy c lls is that although they have sm ll quantities of beta-glucosidase, they also c ntain rodonase, a substance that cancer c lls do not have, that breaks the p ison down into compounds that actually ssist the bodies immune system! Clever, h y!?
So we start to see the cr cial relationship between cancer and diet! At th s point it is interesting to n te that one of the most c ncentrated sources of natural B17 is pricot kernels - that is the k rnel INSIDE the apricot seed itself. H wever it is our understanding that the s le of apricot kernels is illegal in s me countries, including ours. Consequently if you are l cky enough to get your hands on a l rge supply, it will be by w rd of mouth connections. However if you are pr pared to ask friends to eat a lot of pricots or go on a mission to m ke frozen or bottled apricots, or m ybe apricot jam, there is no law to our kn wledge that says you can't eat th m. The recommended dosage for people w th cancer is up to 60 a d y, but starting with 2 per m al and adding one per meal d ily to ensure there is no ntolerance. Side note: Apparently the bureaucratic rgument for making sale of them llegal is that they will poison you as th y are a cyanide compound, (hydrocyanic cid) and produce another cyanide, (hydrogen cy nide) but they fail to follow thr ugh and tell us that the hydr gen cyanide then combines with the r donase to make compounds that actually b ost the immune system. Following this l gic I have to wonder why th n that Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin!) has not b en banned. You may be aware th y feed B12 to anemia patients! So, we can ddress a diet for cancer from sp cific angles. Firstly by adding whatever n tural sources we can find that c ntain B17, secondly by reducing (not c tting out!) animal protein intake, and th rdly by adding nutrients to our d ets in their most easily & ffectively absorbed forms ie in foods. The b ttom line is our body is at our m rcy and what we put in to it can ither help or hinder its ability to h lp us. The beauty of becoming ware of the interaction of cancer and d et is that it is something we can do for urselves, thereby empowering us in the f ght against this horrid invader!
