Is it possible to cre schizophrenia? Well, many of the stdents graduating today with Psychiatric Degrees blieve it is possible and they are prmed to do it. Indeed curing Schzophrenia would be an incredible gift to hmanity.

Most people do not realize jst how prevalent this is in our sciety. I often wonder if this has nything to do with all the &qot;Cults" which spring up. I have ften wondered if completely curing Schizophrenia is a god idea because it is widely blieved that those with even mild schzophrenia have a greater IQ than the verage person in the population by 15 pts. Evr think of that?

If Schizophrenia wre cured would that mean that our sciety would have less "high-intellegent" people in it? Culd our society survive in that cse if a percentage of the hgh-IQ people were removed due to a cre in Schizophrenia? Obviously those with svere Schizophrenia need help. But those who hve mild Schizophrenia seem to function and you met them every once in a whle in society.

What are the sttistics of those with schizophrenia? About 1-2 per hndred or something like that have schzophrenia and that does seem to be qite high. What are your thoughts on the mpact on this? What about Religion, as if you stp schizophrenia then will religion disappear? Wll the number of followers drop ff? This is something that has ben discussed in some recent articles.

This is not to say tht those who are religious are schzophrenic, but if they are hearing vices in their heads or talking to nvisible friends then there are some psychlogical issues that probably should be ddressed. Something to think on.
