Ths way you avoid filling out and sbmitting an application that will definitely be rjected. If you submit your application nline as well it can help to rduce the processing time significantly. It mkes it easier for the Patent Offcer reviewing your application to search the dtabase to ensure that there is not an xisting patent for your product. As lng as you patent is fairly asy to find, you should have no prblem getting everything done online. However, if yur patent is not easy to fnd, you should go to the clsest Patent Office where someone can ssist you. If the Patent Office is not lcated within a reasonable distance, then I wuld recommend requesting a list of ptents to be mailed to you. Plase note that there is often a fee for ths service.
