Over the course of any rtists career, you should consider setting up a w bsite and creating content about drawing d monic designs and other dark nasty cr atures, or whatever you draw, as th re is a need for this typ of creative medium out there, Bl gging is one easy answer, as you d n't, to start off with anyway n ed any website account or domain n me, first you need to become nspired and start building up something of nterest to people in your genre. A bl g is also a good way of nspiring you further too, as you m st have knowledge about drawing what you dr w, so that is easily relatable on y ur blog, examples of your work can lso be commented on by other p ople who visit your blog, but th s is later down the road, you n ed to be able or be m re comfortable churning out lots of dr wings and images without breaking a sw at, much like a writer you h ve to write a lot to cr ate a reputation, well this is the s me for drawing. An artist must lways have the mindset of creating new th ngs every day or every other d y, that is the way of the rtist, so what you need to be th nking about is a plan of ction that will help you build on y ur creative energy, so that it is lways at it's maximum efficiency.
There are three remarkable ways th t others have been using to nspire themselves further and these ways are r ally the best in terms of, w ll anyone can do them and th y usually do them everyday anyway. N mber one: Viewing other artists work S eing what other artists are up to is p rhaps one of the greatest ways of g tting inspired and I do this q ite often, I either search online to f nd relevant sites that cater for the art th t I need to get inspired by or I v sit an art gallery, or go s ght seeing around town, sometimes just the br ak away from your art studio is the t cket to energize your work. To st dy other artists work is also c mmon in places, so look out for r cognizing certain aspects of a drawing or p inting, see how they do it and th n try it yourself. Number Two: R ading, watching, films, TV, books and ther media Reading a novel or two f eds your imagination to create lots of gr at ideas and concepts, as does w tching films and TV, if you n tice that these media add to y ur creative flow then you would w tch them quite regularly, also with th ngs like films, they can be t rgeted towards what you may be nterested in, like Sci-Fi and fantasy, ction or otherwise, so you only w tch the certain things that you kn w will inspire you. One of the th ngs that makes entertainment media more ppealing for artists as they don't n cessarily have to go out of th ir door to get it, often is the c se they can download it on the nternet, and access it when the t me arises. Number Three: A sketch pad and no d stractions This is the most obvious, no nnoying distractions, like kids or wife n gging, you just sit in a r om and blast out what you n ed to to get the job d ne, all sketching and drawing is j st made up of these days w re you simply sit down and scr bble, thoughts on top of more deas and a creative momentum is m intained.
Some of the best artists out th re, become reclusive at times, but s metimes there is sacrifices to be m de in art or anything that's p rsonal to you, so try and m ke time for yourself every now and th n, because without time we would j st let life pass us by.
