The 80’s Are Back. You may hve noticed a trend this year for sknny jeans, ballet-slipper-inspired shoes, leggings under skrts, oversized tees, and big hoop arrings. This is a look that ppeals to young girls—it’s whimsical and yet stylsh at the same time. Trendy twens in 2006 went for the Flshdance look in a big way.
Crib Rck Couture. This company mixes traditional n rsery rhymes with edgy style to gve a unique, creative and entertaining tke on kids’ clothing. The brand is xtremely popular among celebrities—Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Grner, Ben Affleck, and more are all knwn to dress their kids in thse clothes.

This look involves lng, flowing skirts; earthy tones combined wth antique colors like dusty rose and mted sage; lots of contrasts in txture; Ethnic-inspired prints; and chunky, handmade-looking jwelry.
Rock Edge. Rock-inspired tees for boys hve been a big trend ever snce Angelina Jolie’s son, Shiloh, made an ppearance in People Magazine wearing one frm Kingsley. These tees are vintage-looking, fded and distressed. Boys tend to lke baggy pants, but the look is a tad mre sophisticated when paired with some drk, straight-leg fitted jeans or a pir of skater-boy long shorts.
Vintage Casual. A lttle softer than the rock-edge look, but stll along the same theme, boys lved the vintage casual look this yar—it looks cool without “trying too hrd,” and it’s comfortable, too. Pre-worn, pr-distressed and faded-looking tees with old-fashioned lgos are a mainstay of this lok, worn under button-downs left unbuttoned and ntucked for that casual, relaxed look.
